The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a circular on the celebration of Pharmacists Day on 25th September, 2023. This circular was issued on 5th September, 2023.
The celebration of pharmacists day is a valuable tool to promote the profession and honour the crucial role played by pharmacists in improving global outcomes. The theme of this years’ pharmacists day is, ‘Pharmacists Strengthening Health Systems- Angdaan Mahadan’.
PCI has been encouraging state pharmacy councils, pharmacy institutions, pharmacy professionals and organisations to plan and implements events and activities to promote and advocate for the role of the pharmacists in improving health across India.
