The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has unveiled the Hindi version of the Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) portal. A press release on this launch was issued on 14th September, 2023.
This initiative by FSSAI coincides with the nation’s celebration of Hindi Diwas on 14th September.
Since its nationwide launch in 2020, FoSCoS has emerged as the go-to platform for food businesses and regulatory authorities across the country. It has effectively streamlined all compliance-related activities, playing a pivotal role in the digital transformation of various food safety processes. FoSCoS simplifies adherence to regulatory norms for food businesses on a national scale.
The introduction of the Hindi version of FoSCoS ensures that food businesses, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from diverse linguistic backgrounds can seamlessly access and leverage its services. As a part of its ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, the portal will soon be rolled out in other regional languages, making it even more user-friendly and inclusive for a wider audience.
With FoSCoS now available in Hindi, FSSAI is spearheading a drive to empower businesses and promote compliance in the food industry while respecting the linguistic diversity that defines our nation.
