The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has notified the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Tenth Amendment Order, 2023. This order was published on November 24, 2023.
The order introduces specifications for the following micronutrient fertilisers:
- Chelated Calcium as Ca-EDTA
- Chelated Magnesium as Mg-EDTA
- Chelated Manganese as Mn-EDTA
- Chelated Copper as Cu-EDTA
The order also establishes the Method of analysis for each of the above stated micronutrients.
It also introduces specifications for Single Super Phosphate fortified with Zinc, Iron and Boron as a fortified fertiliser and Zinc Gluconate as a liquid fertiliser.
