All Pharmacy Institutions are mandated to guide their pursuing students through the registration process on the DIGIPHARMed portal launched by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). This initiative aims to streamline student registration and enhance the overall efficiency of the academic process. This notice was issued on January 13, 2024.

Student Enrolment Process through DIGIPHARMed portal:

  1. Open the PCI official website
  2. Click on the ‘DIGIPHARMed portal’ tab located in the upper right corner of the website.
  3. Upon clicking, the portal link will open.
  4. Users are required to open the student registration page and complete all relevant data fields.
  5. Click on “SAVE” to submit the registration information.

Upon successful registration, the student’s data will be displayed in the Institution application list of the respective educational institution. The institution will then proceed to verify the student details. After successful verification, the student will be officially enrolled in the specific institution.

It is crucial for institutions to promptly verify student details, as these will be cross-checked by inspectors during routine inspections. This process ensures the accuracy and authenticity of student information, contributing to the maintenance of high standards within the pharmacy education sector.

Institutions are urged to take immediate and necessary action to facilitate the registration process for their students on the DIGIPHARMed portal. Compliance with this directive will not only streamline administrative procedures but also contribute to the overall improvement of the education system in pharmacy institutions.
