The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has officially announced an extension of the application submission deadline for the 2024-2025 academic session. This decision follows the issuance of circulars on December 14, 2023, December 22, 2023, and January 6, 2024.

Stakeholders from across the pharmaceutical education sector had expressed concerns and requested additional time for the submission of applications. Acknowledging these appeals, the PCI has now granted an extension, setting the new deadline for application submission on January 30, 2024.

It is imperative for all concerned institutions to take note that this extension marks the final opportunity to submit the Self-Inspection Form (SIF) for the upcoming academic session. Failure to adhere to this deadline may result in the exclusion of institutions from consideration for approval for the 2024-2025 academic session.

In the event of any technical queries or glitches during the submission process, stakeholders are instructed to capture a screenshot and forward it exclusively to the PCI grievances portal. It is emphasized that any communication related to technical issues sent via email or hard copy to the Council will not be considered for future reference in legal cases or issues.

The PCI has underscored the importance of directing all complaints and technical glitches through the designated Grievance portal. Only submissions made through this official channel will be taken into consideration for resolution.

In light of these developments, institutions are strongly advised to ensure timely compliance with the extended deadline and to utilize the Grievance portal for any technical concerns.
