The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced an extension in the deadline for corrections in filled Self-Inspection Form (SIF) for the 2024-2025 academic session. This decision follows the issuance of circulars on December 14, 2023, December 22, 2023, January 6, 2024 and January 20, 2024.

It may be recalled that the last date for submission of applications for the upcoming academic session was fixed as January 30, 2024.

However, stakeholders from across the pharmaceutical education sector have expressed concerns and requested additional time for making corrections to already filled SIFs. Acknowledging these appeals, the PCI has now granted an extension, setting the new deadline for making these corrections on February 2, 2024.

It is imperative for all concerned institutions to take note that this extension marks the final opportunity to correct their filled SIF for the upcoming academic session. Hence, the PCI will allow corrections on its portal from January 31, 2024 till February 2, 2024.

Additionally, it must be noted that the PCI will not be permitting any additions or deletions in courses in already submitted SIF. Institutions can raise queries on courses or intake through the PCI grievances portal.

In the event of any technical queries or glitches, stakeholders are instructed to capture a screenshot and forward it exclusively to the PCI grievances portal. It is emphasized that any communication related to technical issues sent via email or hard copy to the Council will not be considered for future reference in legal cases or issues.

In light of these developments, institutions are strongly advised to ensure timely compliance with themdeadline and to utilize the Grievance portal for any technical concerns.
