The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has introduced a concession in the Annual Minimum Marking Fee for Micro Scale Enterprises under the Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
It may be recalled that the BIS had issued a notification dated 5th August, 2021 introducing the marking fees for various enterprises under the IS standards.
By virtue of the present notification, the BIS has granted a concession in Annual Minimum Marking Fee for Micro Scale Enterprises. The concession granted will be 80% in the annual minimum marking fee payable by the large scale enterprises.
This concession shall remain in force for a duration of three years from 1st June, 2023 to 31st May, 2026.
