The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has extended the timeline for filing FSSAI Annual Return for FY 2022-2023. This extension is provided up to 30th June, 2023.
Moreover, FSSAI reiterates that only online Annual Returns submitted through the FoSCoS portal will be accepted.
All the food manufacturers (including repackers, relabellers and exporters) and importers are required to submit annual return by 31st May of each year. The current notice has provided an relaxation in the timeline for submissions of annual returns for FY 2022-2023, up to 30th June, 2023.
