The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has recently uncovered a case of forgery involving a letter issued to GSL Medical College in Rajahmundry. The forged letter falsely claimed an increase in seats for MD-Radio Diagnosis from 10 to 24 for the academic year 2023-24. MARB would like to clarify that no such application was received from GSL Medical College for the mentioned seat increase, and consequently, no communication regarding this matter was dispatched to the college by MARB.

It is imperative to note that the letter in question, which purported to grant permission for the seat increase, is entirely forged and fake. The Member/President of MARB did not issue this letter. As such, it cannot be considered as valid permission from the Medical Assessment and Rating Board of the National Medical Commission.
