The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice announcing the availability of recognised Postgraduate Broad Speciality Seats for Seat Matrix for Academic Session 2023. This notice was issued on 19th June, 2023.
NMC had received 2828 applications from various medical colleges/ institutes for recognition/ renewal of PG Medical Qualifications during 2022. It has taken a decision on 1870 applications and the remaining are under process.
Since the counselling process of NEET-PG 2023 will be commencing shortly, NMC has decided that all existing recognised PG Broad Speciality Seats available with the medical colleges/ institutes will be considered for admission for Academic Session 2023 and seat matrix will be prepared accordingly. Colleges can reduce seats in special circumstances.
