All National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) has informed all medical colleges and nursing institutions respectively, about an upcoming interaction session with the Prime Minister as part of the “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024” initiative. Notifications to this effect have been published both by NMC (dated January 19, 2024) and INC (dated January 24, 2024).

The event is scheduled to take place at Bharat Nidhi Bhavan, Pragati Maidan II, New Delhi, on January 29, 2024.

The event will witness the Prime Minister engaging with approximately 1,200 students, along with teachers and parents, addressing various aspects of academic life, examination stress, and overall well-being. This marks another edition of the interactive platform that has gained popularity for its candid discussions and insightful advice from the Prime Minister.

The entire program will be broadcast live on Doordarshan, including DD National, DD News, and DD India. Additionally, it will be accessible through live airing on various radio channels and live web streaming on the official websites of PMO (Prime Minister’s Office), Ministry of Education (MOE), Doordarshan, MyGov.in, and YouTube. The MOE will also facilitate viewing through Facebook and Swayaruprabha channels.

Medical colleges and nursing institutions across the nation are urged to give extensive publicity to this event and make necessary arrangements for students to participate actively. The exact timing of the program will be disseminated through TV channels, newspapers, the websites of PMO and the Ministry of Education, among other platforms.

This initiative aims to provide students with a platform to interact directly with the Prime Minister, fostering a dialogue on education, career choices, and strategies to cope with the challenges of examinations.
