In response to numerous representations received from institutions across India citing technical glitches in the application software, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has taken the decision to extend the last date for submission of applications. This decision was intimated by a circular dated January 6, 2024.

The new deadline is now set for January 20, 2024.

The move to extend the deadline comes as a response to technical problems encountered by applicants while using the software. The Council has acknowledged the challenges faced and aims to provide an equitable opportunity for all interested parties.

In light of this extension, PCI urges all institutions not to delay the submission of applications until the last date. It is emphasized that waiting until the final moments may lead to server congestion, potentially causing delays in the application process. Institutions are encouraged to submit their applications at the earliest, well within the stipulated timeframe.

The consequences of failing to apply within the extended deadline will solely rest on the concerned institutions. The Council clarifies that no further extension will be granted, reinforcing the importance of timely submissions.

For any technical queries encountered during the application process, institutions are advised to take a screenshot of the issue and forward it to the PCI grievances portal.
