INC urges the Monitoring of Anti-Ragging measures in Nursing institutions as per UGC Guidelines
The UGC has issued comprehensive guidelines during its 15th Inter Council Committee Meeting. These guidelines are applicable to all Universities, State Registration Nursing Councils, and Nursing Schools/Colleges across the country.
INC suggests addition of Foreign Language as Optional for BSc(N) or GNM Programmes
The INC observes that there is a need to add foreign language to B.Sc.(N) or GNM Programmes, as value added course to be adopted by nursing students. This will give them an added advantage for overall personality development while pursing their degree or diploma programme in nursing.
Enrolment of Nurses (who are working outside India) in Nurse Registration and Tracking System (NRTS) portal
It has come to the attention of the INC that a large number of nurses working outside India have not yet enrolled in the NRTS portal. In order to maintain an updated and comprehensive Live Register of Nurses, both working within and outside India, it is hereby requested that all Indian nurses working overseas enroll in the NRTS immediately.
Indian Nursing Council condemns Fake Notification issued in its name
The Indian Nursing Council now categorically states that Notification No-6 dated 5th June, 2023 is a fake and fabricated document with fake signatures and such notification has never been contemplated not issued by the Council.
Indian Nursing Council clarifies on Admissions for Academic Year 2023-2024
It is clarified that all students of B.Sc.(N) shall be admitted only if they qualify in the entrance exam conducted by State Government/ University/ State common entrance cell.
