The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notice on internship completion date of 2018 batch of MBBS students. This notice was issued on December 21, 2023.

In response to the widespread disruptions caused by COVID-19 pandemic, universities across the country are grappling with altered timelines for admission and course completion. This is particularly affecting the crucial internship phase of MBBS students from the 2018 batch. To ensure a fair and accurate assessment of their internship completion, universities are reaching out to faculty and students alike.

Recognizing the challenges posed by the pandemic, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) in 2024 necessitates a thorough evaluation of the internship progress of the 2018 MBBS batch. To meet this objective, NMC has established a Google Form to streamline the information collection process.

All universities are requested to complete the Google Form. The last date for submission of information is December 25, 2023. This measure is deemed necessary to ensure that the NEET PG-2024 can proceed with accuracy and fairness. Universities are encouraged to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Officials emphasize the importance of timely submission, as it allows for adequate processing and analysis of the data, ensuring that the NEET PG-2024 can proceed smoothly. The cooperation of universities in promptly filling out the Google Form is essential in guaranteeing that the medical education sector adapts to the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic without compromising the quality of assessments.
